SPSC Social Worker fills need for Spanish speakers

There are lots of Spanish-speaking families in the Puget Sound area, but not very many Spanish-speaking social workers. SPSC has Janette Garcia, who ends up helping people throughout the area gain access to services.

WHO WE ARE

South Park Senior Citizens serves those 55 and older who live in King County (serving hundreds of different elders each year).

Our programming at SPSC includes Community Dining, fitness classes, Zumba, Karaoke, dancing, Bingo/Loteria, book clubs, field trips, and more!  

SPSC also provides supportive social services (in Spanish, Khmer, and Vietnamese); we are able to assist you with housing, food resources, government benefits, medical support, transportation, translation/interpretation, and much more.
