We are thrilled to feature a talented photographer, Amanda K. White, who has volunteered her time and incredible skills to take portrait photographs of SPSC seniors. Her work has captured the essence of our community and the unique characters of our cherished seniors.
Amanda’s passion for photography blossomed during her teenage years, a period marked by creative exploration with her triplet sister. Together, they embarked on numerous photo adventures, honing their skills in the darkroom at their local community college. It was in these formative years that she discovered the profound emotional impact a photograph can have.
Her philosophy centers around the idea that every person she photographs contributes to her personal story and fuels her artistic drive. She aims to create images that evoke strong emotions, transport viewers to cherished moments, and narrate stories worth remembering. This deep connection to her work is evident in every shot she takes, ensuring that each photograph is not merely a picture but a vivid memory encapsulated in time.
SPSC has been fortunate to have her share her talents with us. Each image tells a unique story, bringing to life the warmth and connection shared among our members. Her ability to capture the genuine emotions and interactions of our seniors has provided us with a treasure trove of memories that we will cherish forever.
In her own words, “All I want is to create images that bring you back, make you feel, and tell a story worth remembering.” Her heartfelt dedication to her craft shines through in every photograph, making her an invaluable part of our community.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Amanda for her incredible work and for sharing her gift of photography with us. Her images not only preserve our memories but also remind us of the beauty and significance of every moment spent together.
