Sovanna has been a participant at South Park Senior Center since 2019. Sovanna has been a regular at Shining Night Dance and evening dinner; she sometimes takes the part of singing for other Seniors to dance, and has also taken field trips with the Center.
Sovanna is excited to serve as a Program Ambassador to ensure the strong communication between Seniors and staff—she looks forward to sharing her experience, and learning from the other participants, as the Center puts together meaningful programming for Cultural Focus months. Sovanna is looking forward to fulfilling her role by helping create more activities and opportunities for Seniors to improve social skills and healthy habits.
